Leo’s second challenge was a solo marathon covering 42km over varying terrains of highland moors and icy sandurs. Leo ran this course over seven hours past the vast ice caps of Vatnajökull and the magnificent icebergs in the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón, finishing up on the black volcanic sands of Diamond Beach.
